How it works

Zapier connects API Alerts with over 6,000 apps. Set up a Zap with any trigger app, and API Alerts routes the event through your configured destinations.

  1. Choose a trigger (a new Stripe payment, a GitHub issue, a form submission)
  2. Select API Alerts as the action
  3. Map the fields to your alert message
  4. Your team gets notified through every destination you have wired up for that channel
  • Stripe payments. Get notified on every sale, refund, or failed payment.
  • GitHub issues. Alert your team when new issues or PRs are opened.
  • Google Sheets. Notify when a new row is added (great for form responses).
  • Typeform and Google Forms. Instant alerts on new submissions.
  • Calendar events. Reminders routed to the channels your team actually checks.
  • Email forwarding. Get alerts for emails to a shared inbox.

No code required

Unlike our SDKs and REST API which are built for developers, Zapier lets anyone on your team set up notifications. If you can use a web form, you can connect API Alerts to your tools.

Zapier is the no-code bridge for several common alerting flows. Each of these use case guides shows how Zapier fits alongside the other implementation paths:

  • Payment and revenue alerts. Bridge Stripe, Paddle, LemonSqueezy, PayPal, Gumroad, and other payment processors to API Alerts without writing a backend webhook handler.
  • Product analytics alerts. Bridge Google Analytics 4 and other analytics tools that do not emit outbound webhooks natively.
  • Cron job failure alerts. Schedule-triggered Zaps can act as a lightweight cron alternative with alerting built in.

  1. Create a workspace and API key in the API Alerts dashboard
  2. Join the Zapier public beta
  3. Create a new Zap with your trigger app and API Alerts as the action
